Three different meters in one
H-METER helps you check how loud your track is, where its peaks reach and how the stereo image behaves. Use the readings alongside your listening to compare sections and spot potential problems worth checking in mono.
Analog
The VU-style needles make average levels easier to follow, while peak hold keeps brief peaks visible long enough to check. K-12, K-14 and K-20 provide different reference scales; using the same scale across sessions gives you a consistent basis for comparison. Input and output trims let you adjust the level through H-METER without moving your DAW fader.
Loudness
Integrated LUFS measures loudness across the track, while short-term and momentary readings help you follow changes between sections and phrases. True peak shows peaks that may fall between digital samples. Built-in streaming targets give you a reference when checking a finished master, so you can make informed level decisions while listening for the impact and dynamics you want to retain.
Stereo
The stereo page shows how the signal is distributed between left and right, with width and mid/side readings to help you assess the balance. Negative correlation can indicate content that weakens when summed to mono. Use it as a prompt to check that passage in mono and listen for what changes, particularly after adding stereo widening.
